Ink Dyes

Description

Ink dyes are highly concentrated, water- or alcohol-based colorants used to add vibrant and translucent color to a wide range of surfaces, especially in paper crafting, textiles, and artistic projects. Unlike pigment inks, which sit on top of surfaces, dye inks are designed to soak into the material, providing a more vivid, seamless, and quick-drying finish.

Types of Ink Dyes

    1. Water-Based Dye Inks
  • Best for paper crafts (cards, scrapbooks, stamping).
  • Blendable and ideal for watercolor effects.
    2. Alcohol-Based Dye Inks
  • Common in markers (e.g., Copic markers).
  • Permanent and suitable for non-porous surfaces like plastic, metal, or glass.
